Patti Stanger is willing to dish out tips on dating, but the mouthy matchmaker, who claims she knows how to land a millionaire, might not tip like one. Bravos Millionaire Matchmaker host left a paltry gratuity at Carmines on West 44th Street Thursday after dining with four friends for 2 1/2 hours. A spy said that after being very dismissive with the staff, she paid for her $224.25 tab with a $200 restaurant gift card and left only $50 to settle the balance -- leaving just less than $25 for the tip. Stanger told us by e-mail, My ast [sic] did the bill for me n [sic] counted out the cash, then I handed it to the server. She informed me the bill was $209.00. Not sure whats going on here.

Online romance scam dupes thousands - New Kerala

London, Sep 28 : Hundreds of thousands of people in Britain may have been hit or duped by online romance scams, far more than previous estimates. The study undertaken by Monica Whitty and Tom Buchanan, psychologists at the Universities of Leicester and Westminster, is probably the first formal academic analysis of the pervasive scam. Criminals often set up fake identities on dating and social networking sites, using stolen photographs (of models or army officers) and pretend to develop a romantic relationship with their victim.
