Stocks to watch today include Boston Scientific, Brady and more.

A Boston Scientific Corp. official said Friday the current level ofregulatory scrutiny over surgical meshes intended to treat a pelvic organproblem in women is sufficient, after a Food and Drug Administration panelrecommended more oversight the day before.

Brady Corp.s fiscal fourth-quarter earnings rose 37% on stronginternational sales as the company announced plans to repurchase up to 2 millionClass A shares. Brady also raised its full-year earnings estimate.

Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc.s board approved a new $1 billion stockrepurchase program to begin once it completes the current buyback.

Online dating company FriendFinder Networks Inc. plans to pay up to $65million to acquire BDM Global Ventures Ltd. in a move that will give itownership of BDMs JigoCity deals site.

Hertz Global Holdings Inc. again extended its exchange offer to acquirefellow car-rental company Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. amidcontinued weak investor interest in the deal.

Online romance scam dupes thousands - New Kerala

London, Sep 28 : Hundreds of thousands of people in Britain may have been hit or duped by online romance scams, far more than previous estimates. The study undertaken by Monica Whitty and Tom Buchanan, psychologists at the Universities of Leicester and Westminster, is probably the first formal academic analysis of the pervasive scam. Criminals often set up fake identities on dating and social networking sites, using stolen photographs (of models or army officers) and pretend to develop a romantic relationship with their victim. Such scamsters have persuaded many to part with large sums of money before their suspicions are aroused, often on emotive or humanitarian grounds, according to a Leicester statement.
