Original Civil War documents sought for Aug. 5-6 digitization - Staunton News Leader

Letter written by Dr. Alexander Waddell from the General Military Hospital in Staunton, dated Oct. 18, 1861, in which he opposes a recent Confederate order that will make conditions more difficult in the hospital. Original documents such as these in private hands are sought for scanning at the Staunton Public Library on Aug. 5 and 6, as part of the Civil War 150 Legacy Project.
